DJ Frank – Biography**
Born in Freetown, Sierra Leone, DJ Frank’s passion for music ignited at a young age. He began his musical journey by joining the church choir, learning to play the keyboard and later honing his skills with his secondary school’s brass band. He showed a natural talent for playing music at an early age, he embraced the world of DJing. As a child, he experimented with turntables and cassette tapes, laying the foundation for what would become a remarkable career.
By the time he was in secondary school, DJ Frank had already become a household name in Freetown. His talents took him to some of the city’s most popular nightclubs, including The Attitude Disco Lagoonda, where he served as a DJ and Assistant Events and Fashion Director. He also made waves at the renowned Old School Night Club, previously known as Bacardi’s, where he was hired to play Techno and House music.
Beyond his performances in nightclubs, DJ Frank expanded his career by managing and owning nightclubs in both Freetown and Conakry. His versatility and deep understanding of digital entertainment made him an international force in the industry. A seasoned DJ and a consultant in digital entertainment, DJ Frank also played at some of the best night clubs in Senegal, Tunisia and Conakry Guinea where he was a Residence DJ and rose to the rank of Promotions Manager at the Bembeya Discotheque International a very big night club that can take up to 400 or more people and is well-versed in various genres, including Arabic music, Indian music, salsa, bachata, Chinese, and Korean music, Trance,House and Tecno music etc.
As a show promoter, DJ Frank has organized multiple events across Africa and Europe, including promoting Artists and Dj’s, cultural shows in France aimed at promoting Sierra Leone’s rich culture. He is also the proud organizer and sole proprietor of the Miss Sierra Leone Beauty Pageant in France, a prestigious event celebrating the beauty and talent of Sierra Leonean women.
DJ Frank’s musical influence extends beyond his work as a DJ and promoter. His expertise in digital media has made him a sought-after consultant, specializing in IT, Hotel Management and cybersecurity as well as digital content creation. From designing websites to creating digital adverts and flyers, DJ Frank’s knowledge and creativity span various fields.
Today, DJ Frank continues to showcase his talent and expertise across North America and around the world, further solidifying his reputation as an international DJ and digital creator with a diverse range of skills.
